I took my children for a walk around some years ago just before they had security......I got an obvious spooky poke to the shoulder and my son ahead of me stopped about 2 seconds later asking "why". Apparently some one had shouted for him to "Stop right there". Needless to say there was no one with us and we didnt come across anyone else there for the next hour or so...quite an experence. A very erry atmosphere there...loved it .

@katiemal1988 excellent pics, was just there myself 10 days ago lol was very close to being caught by security. And we also do these things at night ;) more atmospheric.... will be going back again soon I hope

My mam was sectioned in this hospital and i had to go there regulary to visit her as a kid and the place creeped me out then, its so strange to see the halls and rooms i recognise in that state but find it fascinating that at one point i had an isight into what it was really like in there, i beleive me, some bad shit went on in there while my mam was in!!!

i used to ride my horse around here, the security gaurd used to wave, never kicked us off the place (: strange place though, freaky to ride through alone, gutted the place is now a building site!

We haven't been through the day because of the security....we have got caught twice, and found a new way around it.
