The actions of Scientology are usually what critics oppose, not the basis/beliefs. People don't protest Scientology because of their belief system; they protest Scientology because its policies encourage forced abortions, harassment of critics, separation of families, "hard-regging" to pressure parishioners to buy more Scientology courses and materials, and so much more. You have to get past the "Scientology is no different than other religions" frame of thought.

Other -major- religions have a dark side which it seems you choose to ignore.

e.g. Suicide bombing, oppression and abuse of women, "God Hates Fags", priests fiddling with little boys, opposition to science, intolerance of other religion (irony at its best), Jihad. I could go on.

But if it easier for "Anon" to pick on the fat kid - well, congratulations!

The difference between Scientology's abuses and suicide bombings, oppression, and abuse of women is that the latter are done by individuals of that religion, whereas in Scientology, the policies are what dictate those abuses.

This actually has nothing to do with religion whatsoever. This has to do with the way the organization is run, which just so happens to have made itself into a religion to avoid paying taxes.

Do you see the difference now?
