This video shows you how to complete composites — first in the Professional edition, then in the Home Edition.

1. In the Pro Edition, just select the characters and click the complete composites icon. That's it, though some may need adjustment, most will be OK without any further work.

2. In the Home Edition, select the accents and one base character, e.g. ˜ ¨ ` ´ ˚ and a, then copy them to the clipboard.

3. Open each accented a in turn, select all (Ctrl A), delete, and paste (Ctrl V).

4. Holding the Shift key, click on each glyph that you wish to keep, e.g. a and ` then delete the rest.

5. Move to the next character with Alter Right, and repeat.

6. Then repeat the process for e, i, o, and u.
