Amazing !
What an underrated synth, I have to get one while its so cheap :)

@DrSqu I agree, JP-8000 is over-rated compared to AN1x. AN1x is really an amazing synth hidden in a body that fools a lot of people into under-estimating it's power.

The editor is as amazing as the keyboard. Yamaha really went all out. On one page you can edit the waveforms by hand and create never heard before, upload them into the keyboard and just go nuts. Other keyboards have unique capabilities, but this one is alone in how it is all put together, and by the original company, too, not by some third party years later. I am not as impressed with the Motif line as I am by this keyboard.

Very nice job highlighting some of what this synth is capable of. I have had the pleasure of owning many fine synths over the years analog and digital. I wont name them all because its over 40 of them. Let me just say that if i was able to keep only one out of all of them for analog and ambient / textural type sounds it would have to be the AN1x. Its simply the most versatile and convincing.
This synth is butters. thanks for helping break my indecisiveness. I'm getting one.

@tionik06 Please don't give up at listening by some presets. The AN1x grows with editing :)

Awesome track well done ! how is the keys quality on the an1x , thinking of getting one :o)

@moogwazhere All of the AN1x is very plastic, not a well hardware. The keys are ok, no noise. But it's to softly for a real pianoplayer. In my studio i've got many more bad keys than AN1x.

How can I download sounds from the net for the An1x, without losing the sounds that I do like in there - about 10 presets I like - I managed to create a few cool sounds, but I am a novice at programming hear about all these great patches - how do you download sounds from the computer into your An1x and still not over-write the sounds you want to keep in the board? Any advice you can give would be a huge help. Anyone on here as well -thanks

You need a midiconnection to a computer, in & out. Then i think the best way is to use the editorsoftware AN1x-Edit by Yamaha. It's not only very easy for editing the AN1x, it's also a good library tool for the organization of the sounds, and sound banks. It's a good way to store and load AN1x sounds. A screenshot you see at 3:56. It's a freeware what working well.
