Spider-Man and Batman are my two favorite superheroes of all time. So, I made this tribute to the two of them. I actually made this a long time ago and was going to put it up, but for a long while Windows Movie Maker was being crappy because I had to fix some sound thing with the video that it wouldn't let me. The video was actually going to be a lot better than what I have here for it, but I still find it satisfactory. Hope you like it.

Films used: Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2

Music used: A medley of various tracks off the score for "Bubba Ho-Tep", composed by Bryan Tyler

Spider-Man is owned by Marvel Comics, Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, Sony Pictures and Columbia Pictures.

Batman is owned by DC Comics, Bob Kane, Bill Finger, and Warner Bros.

Bubba Ho-Tep is owned by... Um... I forgot. But it's someone that's not me.

  • @SLPIFan That's okay. Great videos take time. There's another one I want to do that's probably going to take a long time. You may also like my video for Sevendust's "Black", although it isn't exactly as thematic or meaningful as this video, it still shows my editing capabilities far better in my opinion. My next video will again be superhero-themed, but more in general instead of just specific series, and has a more entrenched idea behind it.

  • @OutOfTheMind

I removed my first comment, I still have one on the video. I removed the first cause I decided to add the mentioning of my future video idea. And it's cool to see that you'd be excited for it. I'll make sure to tell you once I have it up (which needless to say will be a while).

  • @SLPIFan That would be great! I'd like to see it!

Did you remove your comment? I don't see why, and I know I didn't remove it. It wasn't a bad comment at all.

  • Yes, DOJD is the Sin-Eater saga, and it is *great*. A wonderful murder mystery that parallels Batman: Dark Victory. It also co-stars Daredevil as a nice bonus if you happen to like him. I don't own the Civil War series myself, but I've read it, and there have been several Marvel titles (Spider-Man, X-Men, etc.) with their own Civil War books and then just one Civil War book that covers the general thing. You can just read that one, or all of them if you want each side of the tale.

  • @OutOfTheMind yeah but the thing is ...there are so much good series that i just cant choose and with the dead of jean dewolffe thats with the serial killer sin-eater right? and do you have the whole civilwar serier cuz i dont understand how muh comic books it is and witc one so if u can anserw that?

  • Definitely, for sure. This is just my personal taste, but I don't read a lot of modern comics; the writers and editors have ruined my favorite series' for me (Batman and Spider-Man). Most of my favorite comics came from the 80's; The Dark Knight Returns, Kraven's Last Hunt, The Killing Joke, Death Of Jean DeWolffe, etc., but some of the more recent ones every once in a while are good too, like Joker by Brian Azzarello and Spider-Man: Blue by Jeph Loeb. Hush & Ultimate Spider-Man are great too.

  • @OutOfTheMind yeah but i dont have the whole serie i woud love to have the whole serie but i dont understand how much comics the serie counts and i have a few civil war comics the form is bigger than a regular comic right?

  • I read Civil War, it's pretty good. The only thing about it I didn't really care for in it was Spider-Man publicly unmasking before the world, that was pretty foolish IMO, but the rest of the story was pretty good. At least they fixed that one thing, but the way they went about it (One More Day) was pretty bad...

  • @OutOfTheMind you shoud try cicil war its very cool

  • I try to, but they're so expensive nowadays that I can't get them very often : / I have something of my own collection, but instead of focusing what I get on collector's value or other factors outside of the fictional realm of the comic itself I try to look for comics based on their quality storytelling or iconic importance in the series' events. So I may not have as many comics as many other people, but I try to make up for it by getting the best of the best in terms of the story.
