@willbarlow1 Yes, it is real glass, just as the black is. There are several companies that offer conversion kits, and they work very well.

That's a nice easy install, but the only downside is that the front of the phone still remains black.

@SalvatoreDiFranco22 The front is actually available for purchase as well. With that being said, the price on it is a bit steep. Unlike the 3G/3Gs where you could buy the digitizer to replace the front, on the iPhone 4 the digitizer is stuck with the Retina Display meaning you would have to buy a new retina display with the digitizer in one piece. This usually costs' around $175-$200.

If I scratched the glass on my iphone where the back camera is, will getting the new glass fix that? I don't know If I scratched the camera or the actual glass....
