I never did mention that I bleieved the creationism story in the bible, nor did I ever claim that the creationism story is true. The point that I made was that science cannot be proven, no one has witnessed it, there are too many variables, the probability of it happening is amazingly low, and it cannot be repeated. Does science support the idea behind evolution? Absolutely. Does scinece prove it? No. And for all the people sitting on the fence, they should look into it and do their own research

1% of DNA is enough to place a difference between humans and Chimpanzees. The two can no longer mate and produce offspring. Your religious commitment makes you willfully reject the science before your eyes. Not surprising since the Discovery Institute has been lying to America for decades to protect the biblical story. You are clearly a victim of this assault. It is said Creationists will lie with the conviction of a seriously dependent drug addict to support their beliefs.

It is said by biologists that fossils are no longer even required to prove evolution as fact. Evidence from DNA, Anatomical similarity, Geographical all draw the same and picture of the historical record. Your idea that for science to be proved correct it must be repeatable is done by seeing evidence from DNA being supported by Geographical evidence. The fossil record just ices the cake.

People can be as silly as they like. My posts are really for the fence sitter who read these comments. No one expects to change committed minds. That is too painful to most because humans place a lot of attachment to what they believe will bring them happiness or security.

I must laugh though because creationists will argue as fine a point as they can comprehend in science but believe an unsupported book written by shepherds with less knowledge than a modern 3rd grader.

I have no reason to believe evolution over creationism, they both have their fallicies. Because we do not know the exact enviroment at the time we cannot recreate evolution. We have science that points to evolution but does not prove it. It suggest an idea that provides a logical hypothesis on where humans came from and why we are here. As to how it pretains to anything I don't really think makes a difference, but neither can be proven and claimed as a fact.

1% of DNA is a lot of DNA though. When you stop to consider that the mutations have to be in exactly the right order and the rarity mutations occur. For 1% of DNA to change aproximatly one million mutations would need to occur. Example of only 5 mutations George Simpson , an ardent evolutionist estimated to get five mutations in the exact order it would take 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chances Simpson concludes. I am not saying it is impossible by any means, but very improbable.
