@paulspydar The GBA version is actually known as "Contra Advance: The Alien Wars EX". It was actually a butchered port of the SNES version. It swapped out the overhead levels and replaced them with 2 levels from Contra Hard Corps on the Genesis.
When did Factor 5 go defunct? I thought they were still around, they just hadn't done anything in a while (the last they did being Game Cube games for Nintendo).
They're not actually defunct. As far as what I know, according to Wikipedia, they actually caused closure in May of 2009. However, they are somewhat around, but they are only a privately-held company.
I believe factor 5 also did Turrican games
