@rawfoods John hi,
Many thanks for your reply. Since I posted this comment, I managed to find the solution. Any fibrous item needs to be sliced and diced. It takes some time (like pineapples) but is worth it as the juice is really nice. Overloading it once it is sliced and diced doesn't seem to be a problem. It just takes longer. Quite happy now with my VERT 350HD but would be great if the company can sort out the issue of slice+dice and we can put larger items...

The solution is to cut the fiberous items into smaller pieces. I describe this in the following videos:

The 8006 is easier to clean. It takes me about 1.5 minutes. The VRT takes me about 3 minutes.

I like making naturally fermented ginger ale or ginger beer. Juicing the ginger means less straining of the ginger syrup.

I use ginger for joint pain. An inch of ginger is a lot. Drinking it straight will make you vomit. People might be using it topically
Hello, I will be juicing bulk ginger for cocktails in my restaurant.
What do you recommend? VRT 350?

Are you using organic Ginger? If it is not organic, is it ok to juice without peeling?

Non Organic Ginger is high in pesticides from my research. I only juice organic ginger. IF you are using non organic ginger, I would recommend peeling it.

Hi John am having problems juicing grapes with the vine! The juicer is not extracting the fiber efficiently and it is being backed up the machine!

Might need to remove them from the vine if the vine is too hard. Its also very important to select hard, firm grapes, not ones that are really soft and mushy.
