If you think that it's scary not remembering the word 'sweet potatoes"... how about forgetting your nephew's name? the name of your employer??? now that's scary, it's one of the worst part of this disease, you lose all self-confidence... it really sucks. Still... stick to the diet, at least when it comes to gluten and sugar, it really helps with time... really! with time you'll get used and you'll find other "fun stuff"...
Eating gluten and dairy free and following the lyme diet helped me so muchhh already and i also started taking some supplements that detox naturally that help really much the only thing is that if you have arthritis removing gluten can increase the arthritis for a while as arthritis is autoimmune and that removing gluten improve a lot your immunity system. There are ways to make awsome food following those rules you just have to be a little more creative or buy a cook book ;)
Regarding food I did a lot of research and you should definetely buy the book called The Lyme Diet there are really important info on how to eat to heal and is really well summarized. Actually you should remove all dairy beside goat and sheap products and remove all gluten but you can still have a little of carb like gluten free bread or noodles. Also so if there is no interraction between your medication and are not taking antibiotics you can have a glass of red wine once in a while.
Also, you want to avoid hummus (unless you're sure of the ingredients & if it doesn't contain lemon) & yogurt. Yogurt is dairy, and there really aren't any other kinds of yogurts you should have (you should definitely avoid soy). Please pick up a copy of Lyme Disease Solution and follow the diet exactly in that book. You'll lose most of your symptoms just by being smart about what you eat. Trust me. I haven't used my wheel chair in for-ev-er. + I needed it in the 1st place bc of the antibiotics!
I'll look forward to seeing another video from you on the 22nd/23rd when we can hear back about your IGeneX test. I'm not sure how many cycles of antibiotics you've gone through, but if it's only one, and only a light dose compared to future cycles, you should stop now while it's safe and start cleansing your body and start treating yourself with ozone/oxygen therapy. Pressurize the lyme bacteria into remission with no harmful side effects. Never trust a doctor in the USA when it comes to lyme.
Hummus and yogurt are primarily proteins so don't worry. Better to have RAW dairy if you can find it. I have this shit disease as well and terrible brain fog (brain feels numb) and blurred vision. Not fun. I just started using Samento and Banderol combo...I'll let you know if it helps. Hang in there and BTW you look just fine.
