Ok first of all if another combo meter showed up that means he can BLOCK! And second of all they hit after Justin DHC'd, once again because Rick wasn't blocking. I guess you could say he connected with it, but thats insignificant because he shouldn've, and he couldnt do anything about that.

No.....look at about 2:28. By the time Justin DHC's, the combo meter only goes up one, for the HG that hit.

He didn't connect with the Tempest, the HG connected. It could've been mashed out of, and Wong was really just trying to get mags out of there.

Yeah he was playing it safe, I didn't know you could preform the Hyper VIper Beam on the ground, and too bad the tempest did connect.

Most top players will mash out of hyper grab -> tempest, he was playing it safe which is why he did Cable's time flip cause he knew either situation the opponent's block stun would keep Cable safe. Also if he did a ground hyper viper beam, even if connected, it would leave Cable open afterwards for a combo.
