Freezeflame's Blistering Core

This is probably the most neglected of all the missions for the Freezeflame Galaxy, and I think I know exactly why: The "flame" part of "Freezeflame" has been completely overshadowed by the Melty Molten Galaxy. It does the lava/fire theme with better music, it looks more impressive, and it's a lot harder. So people think about the icy part of this stage, since only the Snow Cap Galaxy shares its theme, and that's just one mission.

Not that "Freezeflame's Blistering Core isn't fun either. It's got a lot in common with the Lethal Lava Land course in Super Mario 64, jumping across unstable platforms suspended in lava. What they throw at you this time, however, are these spiky ball enemies (what are they called?) who slowly roll towards Mario. They're not very dangerous by themselves, but there are so many of them that it's hard to get to the end of this place without getting hit.

I think you need to get 120 stars with Mario, then beat the game, then you can play as Luigi.
