Actually a most succinct explanation of the disaster facing us. Extremely well expressed.
-
Saxe Coburg Gotha, that's their real name in the bloodline.
-
I want to know more; he has a jovial sence of Humor.

@tombstone2me so little to occupy oneself with that you decide to criticise an ideal and belief of millions of people around the world. nice one mate.
-
This man obviously believes in God, which is frankly ridiculous.

@echo676 omg it is
-
@AlexanderdeMedici True, but he has plenty of English blood in him.
-
@JackyRowe Prince Philip and the Queen are third cousins not second cousins.
-
@TheRenaissance83 YES. Just a correction though, his mother was Princess Alice of Battenberg, a great-granddaughter of Queen Victoria. Olga Konstantinova is his grandmother on his father's side.
look, he was born in greece, and then emigrated over here. also, he's the queens second cousin, sharing queen victoria as their great-grandmother, so he is also descended from harold godwinson. but who's to say that harold godwinson is far back enough to consider yourself english, for all we know he could have had italian blood from the romans. Even then, we're all descended from a few hundred people in ethiopia. (unless you're nick griffin, descended from a white monkey in buckinghamshire!)

Philip was born at the Villa Mon Repos on the island of Corfu on 10 June 1921, the first son and fifth and final child of Prince Andrew of Greece and Denmark and Princess Alice of Battenberg.[2] Baptised at St. George's Church at the Palaio Frourio (Old Fortress) in Haddokkos a few days after his birth.
