The 1"key ring&D ring on the TE BO can be removed.Officers remove the key ring and snap their keepers through the D ring.A quick pull brings the TE BO into action. Civilians report they just put the TE BO into their waist bands. The TE BO length and keys counter balance each other. With superior pain compliance capabilities(due to it's edge)striking with the TE BO with a short snap, actually slices into raw meat! Pretty effective when one is fighting for their life.
Thank you for your comments.

awesome, but I'm confused, does it employ tear gas or an electric shock system? How does 0:46-0:55 hurt the attacker?

@whitewulf33 The edge of the tear drop design focuses the users force on the edge that terminates. The corners of the edge are especially painful which is demonstrated at those times. There is no "tear gas" or electric shock. The pain reactions are from the unique tear drop design edge.

@geeba12 Thanks for the info, i was also wondering if it would be legal in california, and would it be legal for a minor to carry (concealed or un-concealed)?
this sounds like an excellent tool for self defense.

@whitewulf33 Check your locality regarding the law. It is basically a stick, much like a kubotan.
It is designed as a key chain, I would assume though that it would not be allowed in junior and high schools.
It gets the job done, for sure.
It is in use in 5 police departments in the NY Hudson Valley area.

is that legal? in california?

@cypresspeter2008 If the standard Kubotan is legal, so is the TE BO Hand Stick. They are both essentially "sticks" that you attach your keys to. Check your local & state laws to be sure.
