@stoopefy That's true. I've read that the lack of marketing is one reason why artists fail in getting known and selling their work. But artists need to learn how to network and sell themselves as aggressively (not telemarketer aggressive) as they can. There are so many artists out there that are too shy or too reserved about marketing themselves because (at least, in my opinion) it makes them feel like a sleazy car salesman trying to make a sale. I think taking a business class or two could help

Very good points. However, on higher end artwork, I think people would be cautious on buying stuff costing say £500 or more without seeing it in the real. I am currently trying to sell a different type online as prints etc and am definitely enjoying your videos and newsletter :) Jane Indigo

The problem is artists are artists not marketers, they spend all their time making art because thats their passion selling is not.

i don't even sell my artwork, not cos people don't want to buy it but i give it away cos i don't wanna turn my art into s a work or some kind of business
