The Mimi's Italian is laughable - full of diphthongs and heavy single consonants. Plus she flaps her jaw with every syllable. My God, who trains these people? Tenor not bad - kind of a thin sound.....and very notey, not Puccini at all.

An opera is not a concert. If you want a voice, go for the great tenors in concert. As a "show" this is brilliant !! Young people playing young people. Acting excellent. Went and ordered the DVD

yes you are right....very good ear and i agree they have potential both of them and they are handsome people...but they do need more technical prep...

Quite a voice of hers but not her singing, no precision. And her high notes aren't sung, she yells.
Though the tenor and her might have a future by preparing a lot more, both are nice voices.

Just watched this on the Ovation channel. I'm usually not into this stuff but I couldn't pull myself away from the TV, it was absolutely beautiful and heart breaking.
