  • Suzzy is playing a paperback!

  • The true test of art...longevity. How true. Listen to this...I played a (in my own opinion) poor cover version of "Only Wanna Be with You" by Hootie and the Blowfish, and got over 50,000 hits on You Tube. And this wonderful intricate, beautiful, unique, quirky, rare and authentic posting, by an origianl artist, has merely 1500 hits at this time. The moral of the story...People with good taste are way outnumbered in the world.

  • absolutely brilliant !!!!

  • I have been looking for this song for years; I used to hear it at my aunt Julies and uncle Johns house as a kid on six week holidays in Donegal (Glenties), every year and thought it was called, "We're going away to Ireland soon". I cannot describe the nostalgia this song inspires, what a great childhood and what a hauntingly, soul searchingly beautiful song. Will finish by giving aunt Julie and uncle John a shout-out for the best days of my life...

  • @fenderred1 You can for sure!

  • This song, this album really do stand the test of time. I love it as much today as I did when I heard it when I was in high school. These women made me want to get good at singing harmony :)

  • I love, love, love this song and these three sisters. I bought their very first album, not because I had even heard or heard of them, but because I liked the album cover, and I have been in love with their music ever since.

  • This was the first song I heard by The Roches, thirty-plus years ago. I'm a fan of hard rock and prog but I was immediately floored by the artlessness and sheer charm of the performance. I'm still a devotee, decades later, own all their albums and have been lucky enough to see them live in various permutations a couple of times.

  • If you wanted to introduce someone to the Roches with one song, this wouldn't be a bad one....

  • Why are the Roches so good? They're playful.

  • can't imagine they found much health food in dublin in 1983! deadly song

  • Love you!
