You can see the crowd gather as the end grew closer.
Lots of young people and seasoned professionals surrounded by the best equipment available at the time.
In a day when we were all much younger.

I would hope there would be another reunion but I highly doubt it. After the last one, many of the people were pretty old. You have to realize even the young people back then are old now and the older people are gone.

I missed this channel when it went off the air. You didnt have to wait a half hour or hour to get the news.

This news operation had real potential. Starting with a good mixture of veterans, aggressive up-and-comers and good management like Horowitz and Capra.

More technically advanced than competitors, it was a real loss. Best job I ever enjoyed.

You know, had it not been for Ted Turner launching CNN2 (Headline News) ahead of SNC's launch, this channel may have survived. Who knows what could have happened?

Mr. Scott told me in 2007 (or so) that Ted Turner had told him several years after SNC sold to Turner that HAD we held on for another 60 days, Turner would have sold CNN to us. That makes me want to puke. Pylant
