  • Thank you so much for doing the range test at the end with the camera. I've been looking forever at how far 300mm would get me, and that was a PERFECT example! Good review.

  • thank you

  • is it any good for close up shots or shots where you dont have much room to take a picture can you fit them in and is it a nice picture ! ALSO is it any good for action shots

  • well, you can get some good close ups with it, but if ALL your taking are close ups i say stick with the lense that your camera came with, however it can be done, and the pictures arnt bad at all. and yes, it can take GREAT action shots

  • it sucks to see that you are actually using your camera in automatic while according to you you are professionally talking about the use of equipment

  • Would it be good for Action Sports like Motor racing and MotoX

  • LOL most amatuer 'review' ive seen in a while!!

  • You might want to turn the stabilization off, when using tripod and taking a long exposure. Also I find that heavier lenses are more stable to hold than really light ones.

  • The viewpoints don't come from the lens... It's from the camera body....

  • the 'lock' that only locks the lens at 28mm stops the lens from creeping out when it is pointed down, hanging around your neck.

  • how can the image quality not be a big deal, but that the af points are shown IN THE VIEW INDER is worth mentioning, btw what about chromatic aboration, destortion, af, maybe put it up againt the 70-30mm c'mon wth? btw if you own a dslr you most likly know what a zoom is...

  • @CMHStaff lol

  • Just to let you know, those "little squares" you see are autofocus points and they're in the viewfinder not in the lens. No offense, just though I'd let you know

  • On the 300 mm sample picture, did you set the focus? Or is it that blurry because there was no tripod?
