  • This is a germohobes nightmare! When I make kombucha it takes hours because I wash, rinse, vinegar rinse, sanitize, purify & destill everything before starting the fermentation. My jaw dropped when you touched the SCOBYs. Hope you had fun though.

  • @SUPERSS90 Depends where you live. But you could always buy one from the internet.

  • @tiffyj85 Personally I love the smell of Kombucha. It has a tart taste, kinda like sour wine.

  • @tiffyj85 You're actually supposed to use Black, but White and Green are good substitutes. Never use fruit or herbal.

  • How does the Kombucha tea taste? Even if you sugar it? Does it have a weird or bad after taste?

  • @ponkkaa The caffeine degrades during the process of fermentation. Use common black tea: Orange Pekoe and white sugar.

  • @Skurvy2k I got the info from the ACS. It was a cut and paste job so what you see is from the ACS website. Like you I don't really buy into the "health" stuff either.

  • @justintrayford show me your sources. I just like the taste of kombucha and don't buy into the health benefits....interested in seeing your death stuff tho
