Shocking footage of a tsunami that hits Japan after a massive earthquake hits the north east of the country.
The quake hit about 6 miles below sea level and 78 miles off the east coast. It was quickly followed by five powerful aftershocks of up to 7.1 magnitude.
Tsunami warnings have been now issued for Japan, Russia, Marcus Island and the Northern Marianas. Tsunami warnings have also been issued for Guam, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia, Hawaii
