Lee, if you knew the facts, you would not comment as you have. The gallows had permission to be parked there and we were not informed at all that it needed to be moved. Also to show the illogicalness of the whole incident was the fact that the gallows was retrieved from the impound with no charge at all. What does that say?

And yes, Terry Duplin County's sheriffs Department needs to be Throughly looked at and investigated.

hey mr phipps, i viewed the video and i wanted to ask. if your gallows were on private property with permission and they illegally towed it. which i assume since they just gave it back without charge. why did you not find out whom gave the order to have it seized and go to the magistrate and have them charged with either grand theft/ larceny. or at least illegal seizure? nobody is above the law including the sheriff.
