Ha ...haters: if your kids do this when they are in college you will be REALLY happy. Grow up (you will have to at some point anyhow).
As for the arm chair choreographers: please post the routines YOU have done.
Kids, You guys did a great job. I have taught a University Lindy troupe for almost 10 years and I know your teachers are happy and proud of your work!
PS: Shoes don't make the dancer, they are just a tool. Ask any old time dancer (Sylvia Sykes: flats, Valerie LaFemina: 4"+ heels).

jbellezza: oh PLEASE. to do some kick awesome aerials and add more variety and "swing" flavor to the dance and not look like a fool, you gotta wear flatter heels. that's probably why i HATE ballroom style swing, they just KILL the dance! I think these kids did GREAT with the wcs routine.

Awesome routine, love it. My only complaint would be the rock-steps. The west coast swing world has kinda phased out the rock-step. But other then that thats one of the best team routines I've ever seen. The standard shoe for a west coast girl is a height of 1" to 1.5" with a wide heel. Ballroom heels generally have too skinny of a heel and two much pressure on a central point, not to mention their often too tall for the frame required for west coast. Looks like these girls have the right idea.

i'm sorry. but you don't really know that much about wcs then. one of the world wcs champs right now did a wcs routine to this song. check it out: Jordan and Tatiana "pump it".

are you joking? that was terrible... to use that song and master it, you need to do a really fast paced latin ballroom routine, all girls should be wearing ballroom heels. period.

It's a beautiful thing to see so many people dancing WCS at the same time. They're all good. What a fun dance team. This is what the world needs.
