@bondiau in north america the 2011 models scored only acceptable,in a crash it would mean you would suffer some injuries,however the 2011 chevy cruze is a top safety pick for the IIHS,and the NHTSA

@AccidentallyFunny this is an actual Mazda2. I believe that in Europe and Japan, the Mazda2 comes with projection lamps. It doesn't in the US because it increases the price and American buyers would not pay for a car this size at a higher price.

at 1:15 it's a Mazda3, not a Mazda2.
It's evident by the projection-type headlights, and the wheels. Not to mention the whole front end just looks, and is a Mazda3.
That still doesn't change the fact that the side impact (which WAS a mazda2) is incredibly solid. I'm actually really impressed, my friend and I are both considering one of these for each of us.

@youngbleeb Mazda always had the best quality. :)

I'm so glad this is coming to the US. :)
I wish the 3 door hatchback would be offered though. We only get the 5 door.

The high tensile steel incorporated to the frame of this car has put it ahead of all of it's Japanese and many other competitors

@jajplp you're blind. this is clearly a Mazda2/Demio.
