  • I got head injury in an accident and result was sixth nerve palsy!!!! I suffered near about three months and today i am recovered near about 95%...God really blessed me!! • Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks. great video. god bless ya.

  • thanks for the vedio

  • @bms4fhs This is more of a general contraindication. In cases with all facts considered carefully even LP with high ICP can be done safely and in extreme cases LP is even used as a mechanical decompression.

  • The last segment of this video is not correct. If you suspect increased intracranial pressure you would not perform a spinal tap/lumbar puncture as it is contraindicated with increased ICP. Performing such a procedure could cause herniation of the cerebellar tonsils.

  • Is this condition also known as Duane's Syndrome, Type 1? I have suffered with this my entire life. Thanks for posting this video - it has helped me understand what's going on!! :)

  • watch my video on oculomotor nerve in ma channel

  • My 2 year old girl has recurrent sixth nerve palsy. So far there is nothing the doctor can do. It is on and off, she had 4 episodes in the last 2 years... Does anyone know if there are any triggers? Her MRI and Spinal tap showed she had ADEM at one point, but otherwise very healthy..

  • consider a CTB in a child with signs of high i.c.p prior to LP to avoid coning!! esp if focal neurology!!
