I think it will work both ways. For some, knowing such information is empowering and will only help lead to more informed decisions. However, to others, it will cause a shut down and paranoia to most things:

The trend is inevitable that more and more information will be exposed due to development of technologies. I'm wondering whether more exposure of more information around us will make us more anxiety about the environment we are in, if more negative ones disclosed.
