The Parliamentary Committee on Energy is yet to make a decision on whether the Information and Communication Minister was justified to install Charles Njoroge as the Director General of the Communications Commission of Kenya despite the board's disapproval. This is despite a 2-hour meeting with members of the board of the communications regulator held on Tuesday morning. While addressing the media over the matter and after the meeting, Chairman of the Committee Engineer James Rege exonerated the board's actions in opposing the re-appointment of the director general.
