Recorded on August 13, 2009 using a Flip Video camcorder. Radiohead's 2+2=5 off Hail to the Thief. Drop D tuning, and a very fun song. I used my American Standard Telecaster with a Digitech Overdrive Pedal on my Peavey Vypyr Amp. As a Seattle Mariners fan, I am also pumped about the Ken Griffey Jr. walk off hit against Chicago in 14 innings that was amazing and totally off topic. The Peavey amp in the background is my step dads bass amp, and is not the one I am using. Anyways, thanks for watching and if you are a Radiohead geek, and need a blog to check besides their own (radiohead.com) use greenplastic.com and there is a new Radiohead song out called something like "These are my Twisted Words" and it is pretty good so definitely check it out. Anyways, thanks for watching and I put the new song on my favorites if you want to check it out.

  • its whats his name form smallville o= and that dieing guy's son in inception

  • @cnicholasapple haha, that made me laugh, thanks though if that is an intended compliment

  • you are the only person who plays the intro's picking patterns right on youtube

  • @futurfry Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately however its messy and a couple of the chords in the intro are wrong. However I hope to make a redo of this sometime in the near future.

  • This song is really tricky to play... The quick chord changes at the start make it really difficult to get all the notes to ring out clearly. Plus they're fiddly chord shapes too. So well done; after only two years of playing this is good! I play it slightly differently though... I think there are easier voicings for some of the chords at the beginning than the ones you're playing. Try having another listen to the track; what you're doing looks harder than the way I play it. Keep at it though!

  • Yeah, I heard the differences in a live version a couple days after I made this, so I totally know what you are talking about. When I posted this video, I thought I did better than I did, but watching it a few months later, I am noticing more mistakes than I remember. I also did this by ear, so I suspected the intro might be off a little. I should really just watch Jonny Greenwood play it live and figure it out from him. Thanks for the comment!
