@daregularperson Paul was originally the lead guitarist till Stu Sutcliffe left the band in Germany before they were signed. Then he moved to bass simply because they needed a bassist.

@foolproofpilot No it's paul on his left handed Fender Esquire. Same guitar he uded on Good Morning Good Morning and Sgt. Pepper and the Reprise.
