Hermit trail, Grand Canyon, AZ.
Sushanth, Arun, Harsha and Billy had been to grand canyon hike on Oct 22-23 2011.
We almost went to the breezy point and came back. Camped at Santa Maria Springs. Hike is very strenuous and need good preparation. We made the mistake of carrying too many stuff, which made going all the way extremely difficult. Nevertheless, it was extraordinary trip.

Neat video. Beautiful views!! I've been down to the river on the South Kaibab and Bright Angel trails, but I've only been down Hermit to Santa Maria spring. The looks quite a bit rougher than I remember or imagined it! Sorry you didn't get all the way down, but I'm glad everyone was safe. Keep hiking!!!
