  • Not all of it is for Self defense.

Self Defense is a small portion of what is important. Whats important is living by martial arts, and living with integrity, initiative, and discipline.

No true martial artist does martial arts just for self defense.

  • Im a big fan of bruce lee. I remember him say that in self defense you dont go "When the enemy starts to attack you according to the teacher you do this first then you do this, then that"

NO! thats not what bruce lee said, he said make it simple "A jab in the eye, a poke in the eye, jab in the throat, stomp in the foot, hit the groin." THAT IS BRUCE'S TEACHING not this "do this, then that, then this, then that"

  • @naldongtisoy Okay?? i'm not letting you, that's not what i said, whatever

  • @elchacal31 if you think you're improving your muscle memory with this vid then hey don't let me stop you from improving your "muscle memory".

  • @ikcjjtt

Listen from 0:04 - 0:10, he said: today we are gonna be talking about "ADVANCED JEET KUNE DO". I never heard Bruce Lee talk about AHEM!!!! "ADVANCED JEET KUNE DO". But to each is own. My friend, you have a right to believe what you want and I don't want to argue with you. So if you are learning, then good for you

  • @9mmslick ooohhh... very scary.. I'm scared LOL

  • @naldongtisoy He is not telling you to do that and then this and that, he is teaching a drill to improve your muscle memory

  • Hmm... Bruce Lee did not want these forms that this guy is teaching... he had a more simple or basic method. Teaching punches, counters and all.. but he even called this type of stuff, "1000 years of martial arts propaganda." Also, Jeet Kune Do is just a name according to the Tao Of Jeet Kune Do, "if people say Jeet Kune Do is different from this or from that, then let the name of Jeet Kune Do be erased for it is just a name. Please do not fuss over it."

  • I Am no expert but after he enter to a hit to the face.the attacker would not just stand there.unless one has missed the strike.think about it you hit some one to the face there not just going to stand there.dam good technique tho.

  • VERY METHODICALL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It would've been funny if it started playing, "Stomp em' In The Nuts"

  • @naldongtisoy You have to start from somewhere. Although Bruce Lee critiqued traditional martial arts for not working, he trained and taught his students in a very traditional way. You have to learn "forms, sequences, patterns, techniques, combos, ect." as a reference point and starting point. Then as you learn these things, "dissolve" the techniques and understand and use the concepts. This is JKD. And quite frankly you learn to do this in any good martial art school. Its nothing new.
