@ryuisdabomb A bullet shot into the water at an acute angle can skip off the surface and strike something downrange.

@catcohiba Hey just trying to save a life and you are doing no help whatsoever

@SNOmultimedia Metal targets give and so does the earth of that hillside...try it on a solid, fixed and hardened piece of steel, and thats what you were close to doing smart guy. Usually Darwin has a way of catching up to people like you, but I hope there's no colateral damage along the way. Best wishes.

@Mrsantaissatanisnew I saw the opener, "...highly experienced...safety...blah blah", then I was trying to tell myself that he wasn't actually shooting at a rock about 15m away.No one should claim to be an expert in the safe use of firearms and be seen doing something that stupid. People have died from ricochets, and we'll likely see it on youtube sooner then later by the looks of it.

@Mrsantaissatanisnew Yeah, when the 500 lb rock ricochets at 500 fps and hits ur knee, you'll only be left with 2 knees. Well one's a wee knee... but I'm sure your mother taught u well :/

the suppressor sounds like a very dry asmathic cough :D

"The user in this video is highly experienced in the safe and skillful operation of firearms." BS, the dumass is shooting a rock, a ricochet could have killed/injured himself, the cameraman, or any other person in the area. This is neither 'highly experienced' or 'safe/skillful', it is utter stupidity. I wouldn't go to the store with this bonehead, let alone somewhere to do some shooting. I hope he hasn't polluted the gene pool...
I've been shooting for decades, and I've never had anything fly back at me from the target, unless it had a trigger of its own. The danger with ricochets is for those downrange, which is not a factor on this property, LOL.

It's cool you did a video like this, but why from so far away?? 350 yards? Of course it's going to sound quieter! :O)

@coloradofresh2011 LOL! Because we did one close up and a viewer suggested we do it from a distance to hear what that sounds like. So we did!

If I see anyone shooting a rock, i just wait until they fall to the ground, because ricochets are very dangerous and if you are not careful enough, you can end up hurting people other than yourself, try a target or an object that doesn't ricochet as easlily

@Mrsantaissatanisnew Like a metal target, maybe? That'd be better, huh? Or the hillside? LOL!
