thanks for this advice,...is it the meaning to dry sand the whole tank you think ? or is there a way to dry sand only that what is left open by the mask tape ??

actually, sometimes it works, but it's better to dry (or) wet sand the whole tank for better results. After sanding, apply some filler primer, (for better result, primer requires more dry time: aprox. 2 hours depending on temperature) and if it still has little holes or scratches, you can use some Dupont Fine Putty on them(after the primer), let them dry for about 20 minutes, and sand them out with 400 or 600 wet sand grit.

400 for base coat, 600 for airbrushing.

actually, yes...I was just dry.sanding out the primer.

first of all....the most difficult part: "prep" do a good prep on the tank. make a list of steps and colors you're gonna use on it, so you don't buy stuff you're not gonna use. kandy colors help you save a lot of money buiyng individual colors. I'm shure you'll love to use kandy red and green. I'd use a blak background or a very dark metalic green, so the rose looks hot!!

first job ive got to do is a rose on a kawasaki tank ,... maybe tips for me how to start ??
