A former student of mine is now a captain for WN. I actually (much to my surprise) found myself on one of her flights while she was F/O on a Dornier for a regional.
Flight was IFR from gear-up to gear-down and landed in a howling crosswind. When I poked my head into the cockpit to thank the crew for a great landing, I expected to find a more "vintage" four stripe in the left seat...but instead I found a 5'1 blonde who looked like she was 16.
Sex makes NO difference at the pointy end.

Truth be told I don't give a shit about the sex of the pilot....all I know is they are ALL better at it than I am so I have to trust them all.

sexist assholes, I know 2 women pilots who are about to become captains, they could set a 747 down better than you could pull in to a truck parking spot with a smart car. They're probably better in bed than you are too.

@Electroposit I would feel perfectly happy with a woman pilot. In fact, I've seen women who fly better than most men.
