F35 Lightning II - Arma Addon

Short film of the VTOL animations of the F35 Footmunch's addon I'm converting over to Arma.

Plane will come with Mutliple weapon payloads and four colour schemes (USAF dark grey, grey, light grey and RAF grey) by EddyD.

Video is of VTOL demo only, flight model will be tweaked further (doesn't need much) also video shows original Flashpoint textures.

Thanks to Gnat for help with the VTOL animations.


Model shown in video was based off the X35, it has now been updated to more closely resemble the production F35, i.e the door and thrust hatches have been moved/changed.

yep, and unless they changed the model it will be wrong, as they have based it off the prototype X35 wiht animations like above, mines now changes to the productions animations. confusing I know, anyway hope for a release in the next 2/3 weeks

Took a few hours of scanning the web to get the animations to look like it does in real life.

Top hatch behind cockpit isn't perfect but it will do, all thanks to footmunch's model really only needed the config updating.

I can provide a video if you need, I have a flight sim that includes the X-35 in VTOL and CTOL varients, tho it looks right from the video.
