Ethel The Frog...Fight Back

This song is titled Fight Back by the Nwobhm band Ethel The Frog. I believe the name was taken from a Monty Python skit. I am also not sure about this, but I do believe this song was featured on the 1980 Metal For Muthas.

This was the best song on the LP by far. I bought it when it came out and really couldn't get into it. The production was also kind of canned sounding.

N.W.O.B.H.M. grows on you!! so give it more than 1 or 2 tries. to be honest i think most people that like it are mature/experienced metalheds, not all though.

Yes! It was on Metal for Muthas! I didn't care much for the song at the time but listening to it now...I LOVE IT!!!

@sirdarklust I've still got the original 2 LP's and i don't rate this song that much. Iron Maiden's, Angel Witch's, Sledgehammer's and Praying Mantis's songs were all better than this one. Plus many Hard Rock bands of that era had equally stupid names that didn't help progress their musical careers at all in the end.
