The Holocaust refers specifically to the genocide of the jewish people. The Armenian Genocide can't be "a" Holocaust. Also, there are many progressive people in Turkey fighting against the denial of the Armenian genocide and who want the truth to be uncovered. The people who deny the genocide are a small wealthy elite who carry out a campaign of violence against their own people and who refuse to give the Kurdish people their democratic rights. They do not represent the people of Turkey!

See the website teach genocide dot org and look at the News Accounts of the Armenian Genocide 1895-1919 ( PRESS/NEWS reports section), and there you will find the headline, dated September 10, 1895 ANOTHER ARMENIAN HOLOCAUST. Yes, ! September 10, 1895!

I'm glad to know that the Western powers are becoming more familiarized with the extensive measures of Turkish propaganda in the denial of our genocide, while the rest of the world has legitimized its existence through countless evidential documents and scholarly works. As a proponent of human rights , I believe that no cultural/religious groups deserve such treatment. I hope to see the US accept this event some day ;)

The first genocide denier interestingly used the argument that by only showing one half of the story you can't understand what led up to it. This is exactly the case with the Serbian attacks on the Muslims in Kosovo. Kosovo had been majority Orthodox Christian for 1,000 years. It's now 98% Muslim. So who actually ended up being 'ethnically cleansed'? Same with the entire Muslim world, it's now called 'Arab'. .
