Android - Apps without borders

you people (Europeans and Americans) are living in such an over priced world...
In PK we can have an unlimited internet option for just 400 PKR and thats $4.78698 or u can round it to $5 a month....wow this is sooo cheap...!!!

Great stuff. Too bad they are not talking about Android, but about the Android phones that Google likes. If you have any other Android phone - too bad. You can't use any google apps, and the worst thing is, you can't even access Android Market. Google made Android "open" and then closed the market. Way to go.

i have the hero. it's awesome but someone should make the "i am tpain" app for android!

Dose that Android thing works only in the US and Canada?

Android is an Operating System, it's preinstalled on the phone, you just have to buy a phone with Android OS.
The different applications might not work everywhere and you need internet on your cell phone to use them.
The barcode application I believe will also work in Europe. It recognized the UPC (American Barcode Standard) as a UPC, so I guess it can distinguish different barcodes, including the European EAN which would be relevant to you
