The thing that makes this movie so great as well as other movies of the 80's and 90's is the fact the most of the characters depict normal down to earth people you can relate to. Movies today portray upper class elitists that only the snobby Hollywood types can relate to. This is probably why the movie biz has been losing viewership.

i agree with fastrivers comment, these guys and everyone else in the film are a lot like normal people, reminds me a ton of my old roommate and our adventures. one of my favorite films and the soundtrack is alright too. i have introduced this movie to a lot of people and now they love it!!! gotta go shoot some politicians in the butt now!!
