  • it was used in 1798 to measure gravitation by placing 2 lead balls close together and measuring attraction between them.

    the video doesn't clarify my confusion as to how such a small force can be measured. i assume little g (acceleration from gravity) must be known and mathematically taken into consideration to measure big G, since we are on earth.
