Even me Bosnian learned a lot via you tube about Uyghuristan and their music. So I recognised right away the music from the song Mirajihan..my favorite of Uyghur music.
I wish the best to the great people of Uyghuristan/East Turkestan.

This is really, really beautiful! Amazing music and dance both. I'm a dancer from the US and I've fallen in love with Uyghur culture thanks to Youtube. Thanks for these beautiful videos. Someday I hope to visit East Turkestan. Looks like a beautiful place. Are there any Uyghur dancers in the US?

@Duldul601 That's quite interesting. 'Güc' is the Turkish euquivalent to the Uyghur 'Kuch'. What Buddhist traditions are left TODAY in Uyghur culture? As far as I know some traditions weren't wiped out when Islam as introduced to East Turkistan.
PS. Your women are incredibly beautiful!

sxkhdi -- you heard the term "uyghur turks"? I am sure you know 'turks' very well, and probably too well, but let me tell you something you probably don't know: Uyghurs spent 200 hundred years terminating Turkish Khanates with China in North Asia before year 740. Now they started calling each other "brothers".
Kucha was also called Kusan which is the capital of Kusan Uyghur kingdom. The name Kucha comes from the word Kuch which means Power,Powerful in Uyghur language. Kusan comes from the word Kisin which means also Powerful in ancient Uyghur language. You may know that India is the holy place of Buddhism in ancient times, you should know that Kucha was another world's holy place of Buddhism in ancients times, those amazing relics could be the proof for that.

.Allmost All turk were belivers and their religion was near to Islam. that is the only reason for collective conversion. turk are brave people and best known for resistance against invaders.Turk were the first to introduce islam at india via Kashmir and upto europe and mostl of preecher went there from turk areas.

Not kuja, not Kocha, I t's just kucha, a name of a county which is in Xinjiang.
We also called the passage koo-cha , the same as you.But the title of the video is the girl from Kucha, not the Street Girl(Koo-cha kizi).
