Haldun Komsuoglu and Emi Terasawa dance Viennese waltz in the Adult (19-34) Championship Smooth (WTVF) division at the 2007 USA Dance Southwest Regional Dancesport Championships. They won 1st place in this division.

What the hell is this? They didn't do a single viennese waltz step. There were no natural turns, reverse turns or fleckerls. In fact, they didn't even take ballroom hold at any point, which is the true difficulty of any ballroom dance.

As an addendum, from 0:14-0:16 they do some solo natural turns and the man crosses instead of closing. Really fundamental error.

nice floor show dance, but deff not a viennese waltz at all....the guy needs to be a little tighter with his steps and the lady softer with her arms.

Great dance, and it is another category. You can break position in Smooth, and I did see some variation natural turns
