This was a day I was longing to see in Colorado Springs ever since I moved here 10 years ago! I originally planed on chasing the local, but I woke up a bit late so I had to settle with it's finnishing jobs instead.
Today's "Mud Creek Local" was powered by one of 10 DRGW painted Geeps on the Union Pacific system. UP 1359 is (I think) the only Geep on the system with a Mars Light still on its nose!! The local was returning to the Colorado Springs yard to drop off empty bulkhead flats from Friday's Delivery. Unfortunately, all the clouds didn't provide me much light, but it was enough to satisfy me. Anyway, Enjoy the video!!
