  • this is maiden at their best :D although bruce is struggling to hit the highs, maybe he was feeling ill ?

  • Nah, he was like that through most of the 80's, listen to the Live after death video and you'll hear it!

He's a much better singer nowadays, I believe he got singing lessons some time after he left Maiden!

  • @ChillenMcGrillen93 its not that at all, once you get older your voice keeps maturing, so his voice is at its best now because its matured to the fullest.

  • @magikmike210 Bruce had singings lessons, 'cus he learned a new style of singing, if he would've kept singing the way he did during the 80's, with the dist and stuff, I don't think he would be able to hit the notes he does today!

  • They should release this. I thought there were no professionally filmed performances from this tour. If they ever continue their "history"-thing (early days, somewhere back in time), they should make a dvd box featuring 12 wasted years, maiden england and concerts from the 86-89 tours, like this one. They did it with powerslave/LAD.. why not!? If they do that after the new record, I'll see the tour, and then I'll stop going to metal concerts, cause that would just be un-top-able. SBIT was great!

  • I can promise you, there will be no tour with songs from 86-89!

    They had that this year!

But the DVD I bet will come out!

And after the album tour, Bruce said on a radio interview they would play a tour with songs that haven't been in a tour so far!

So maybe then we'll get to hear Alex the great, Only the good die young, Lonelines, Duellist or Back in the village!?

  • You would like to see HD in '87?

  • @metaljorgo Because those were recorded with very old VCR cameras, an the quality sucks, what do you expect, DVD sound quality from a tape taken 23 years ago?

  • @ChillenMcGrillen93 MEGA FAIL! Somewhere back in time tour, thank you so much. And Maiden Engladn 2012 HERE I GO!!! UP THE IRONS!!!!!!!!!

  • If there is a god, please make these guys play this song during their Maiden England Tour 2012!

  • @ChillenMcGrillen93 I think the problem was a combination of running around onstage too much, plus inadequate monitors. If you can't hear yourself properly onstage, you're singing louder than you should, and end up not being able to deliver. I think these days, he uses ear monitors, so he can hear himself better onstage and therefore can sing better.

  • @InvisibleYetVisible Well maybe, but the World Slavery tour took quite a toll on him. Thats why he sounded they way he did on live after death. If you listen to the rock in rio, he sounds freaking amazing.

  • VCR qualaty is the best, real music is taped in VCR

  • dave solos are always soooooooooooo clean its impressive!!!!

  • @iwlnilla they went their?, its weird i mean Philly and Bethlehem aren't too far away, i would know im from Philly

  • @ChillenMcGrillen93 Hope so!!!

  • It pisses me off that maiden never did a VHS for the somwehere in time tour!!

But this isnt too bad thatnks for posting!!
