Klahowya Village in Stanley Park is a cooperative program set up with Aboriginal Tourism Association of British Columbia and the Vancouver Parks Board to promote First Nations culture. It is a summer program which includes story-telling, 3 performances per day of some of the province's top Aboriginal dance groups, cedar woodcarving by well-known Aboriginal artists, cedar hat-making, silver jewelry, the Spirit Catcher Train, delicious food at the Feast House and much more. It is free to the public and runs this year until September 6. Great for families.
