Sure, I know "Leroy Brown". I'm a huge Queen fan. I got almost everything they released. Many rare live tracks and bootlegs. Especially from before 1980 (my favorite period with the last one [The Miracle + Innuendo]).
"Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy" (from "A day at the races") is a bit in the same style.
Another band I love who used the same style was Sparks. On their album "Indiscreet", it's very obvious. Great band too !

Here's the guy who inspired Freddie Mercury to write some tunes (for ex. on A Night at the Opera). True.

@Nibb9 Don't you mean Brian May?

@mkcwebmaster
No. I meant Freddie for titles such as "Lazing on a Sunday Afternoon" or "Seaside Rendezvous". He was a big fan of Formby.

@Nibb9 That's interesting, I didn't know Freddie was a Formby fan. I don't think those songs of his (brilliant though they are) sound very Formby style though. Have you heard "Bring Back That Leroy Brown", that's got a great uke bit from Brian.
