ISA 2004 is part of SBS 2003 Premium and can be used to control access to web sites. This video demonstrates how to create a new blocking rule using ISA 2004 on SBS 2003 and the results that the rule produces on network workstations.

  • Great video, thanks for posting it. I followed your video and it worked perfectly. However, I added Admins to the exception list (under the Users tab) thinking it would not apply this rule to Administrators but it didn't work. Any suggestions? Thanks again.

  • @alqaqish Don't forget ISA applies the rules in sequence. Chances are another rule is over writing your exception.

  • how to deny a specific AD user in my network from accessing facebook??? i also have isa 2004. just one user .

  • nice tutorial

  • I also would like to know if ISA can be configured to route the internet to the computers in the network without having to enter the proxy? Can the proxy be configured as transparent, meaning that any computer can get internet without having to configure the proxy and port number in the web browser? If yes, how in details.

I appreciate you every effort and I await you response.

    Thank you very much.
