most folk his and my age who were doing things in the 80s are doing next to nothing these days; he's doing really well. and i don't mean just knocking out the hits like many do... writing new songs as well!

I was in Minneapolis to see Lloyd & The Commotions--they were touring the Easy Pieces album--and while looking at a Japanese import copy of T.Rex's 'Tanx' album at Northern Lights record store, someone walked up and said "That's a great album." I turned around only to find it was Lloyd Cole! Have never forgotten that wonderful moment.

Went to see Lloyd on Monday at Buxton Opera House, great performance, the guitar playin looked effortless, was that a Maton he was playin, and the Guild sounded great. What do they sound like unamplified. I went home and started to learn Heartbroken, nice tune. Please pass on my regards/respect to your old man. Did anyone play "Teen Riot Structure" at the T.Rex show, my favourite Bolan track,along with "Eastern Spell. Thanx. Jim
