This is a drum cover of the song Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard. This had always been a favorite song of mine and the drums are very fun to play. The first cover I did was pretty mediocre so I decided to put a little more time into this one throwing in my own versions of the fills that Longineu Parsons does in the original and trying to give it my own feel.
As with any drum covers I do this is not meant to be a perfect replica of the original drums. I always like to be creative and try to make songs, in some way, my own.
Lastly, I want to make it known that Shaun Murray, who did the mixing and creating of this video, is a brilliant sound man and great friend.
