@JohnsTheGuest Because it's not about biological make up, it's about gender identity. Even if "he" IS a dude, "he" may identify as a woman, and thus if she's attracted to other women, it makes her a lesbian. I know how weird it can sound unless you're in those shoes yourself, trust me.

@DemitriusWilliams i can't say i agree; adding some information on her personal life makes people crack a grin. it allows her audience to understand where she's coming from. adding a bit of personal information to some of her videos is actually quite smart; it allows some people to better relate to her, and therefor, watch her videos more often.

if you listen to what she's saying, or if you crack open a book sometime, you'll learn that your anatomy has nothing to do with your gender identity. if someone identifies themselves as being a female, then it's downright disrespectful to say, "No, you're wrong, you're a dude." who's to know better than them whether they're male or female?

and if you find her so uninteresting, dont come to her videos and troll around. you look like a bored loser.

The whole "you've just not met the right (wo)man" statement really seems like a better argument for bisexuality than anything else but bisexuals don't need arguments beyond that it automatically doubles your chances of having a date on a friday night.

I felt like ZJ's 'big reveal' was convoluted and I felt like she deliberately avoided the question I just brought forward. For a vlogger who so carefully explains and supports her arguments, this seemed like a poor attempt to be honest about her life while still appear loyal to and part of her huge LGBT fanbase. I would have preferred a complete and honest story or no information about her personal life.

What bothers me about this is not that (we assume) ZJ is biologically male but claims to be a female lesbian, as that is rather normal for mtf transgender people, but, that ZJ made it clear multiple times in previous videos and livestreams that ZJ considered himself a gay male, but enjoyed dressing like a female for his videos. Now, suddenly, he is not only a she, but a lesbian she. That was incredibly jarring to me, and I admit I cried bullshit right away.
